The first book I ever read and it gave me interest in reading more novels, not just his but more thriller. I have read 9 of Grisham's books so far and I rate him as my favourite thanks to this book, The Firm.

its the best novel i have ever read. it got me started on john grishams books and up till date i cannot resist any of his novels which led me to read the not too interesting A PAINTED HOUSE.

This is the first Grisham that I picked up. It is impossible to put down and it is the Grisham book that got me hooked. A hungry, overachieving law graduate accepts an offer from a prestigious law firm - only a bright future can lie ahead. That is, until he discovers how the firm is embroiled in an interesting range of activities and clients. His safety and future is compromised. It takes all he can do to get out of the tangled web. This is a fast-paced novel that is so enjoyable you wish it was 200 pages longer.

This is the best novel that I have read. After reading The Firm, I became interested in other John Grisham's novels, and also I became a big fan of John Grisham himself. Other novels of this genius author that I have read already were The Chamber, The Client, The Summons and Skipping Christmas, all of which are very compelling and riveting. He's definitely a genius! I'm looking forward to reading all his novels..
